Bout of Books Updates

SO I have been providing updates on my Bout of Books progress via Twitter, but I decided to add a blog post to compile everything in one spot.

Day 1-Started Three Dark Crowns

For #insixwords I described myself as “Bookworm, cook, trivia master, dog lover”

Day 2-I didn’t actually sign up for the challenge until today, but I finished Three Dark Crowns by Kendare Blake (If you haven’t already preordered this one, you should!)

Here is my #shelfie4boutofbooks

Day 3-Started reading The Sleeping Prince

Day 4-Finished The Sleeping Prince by Melinda Salisbury, read The Mirror and The Maze (The Wrath and the Dawn novella) by Renee Ahdieh, and started The Fixer

Day 5-Continued reading The Fixer

Day 6- Finished The Fixer by Jennifer Lynn Barnes (I would highly recommend it) and started A Court of Mist and Fury

I am currently 7 books ahead on my Goodreads challenge!!!

How are you progressing on the challenge?

Goals for the New Year

Each new year brings new challenges and this time we are talking about reading challenges!

Today I started my final term of grad school and will be graduating at the end of March. This means I need to be able to juggle my classes, job searches, and blogging. What it REALLY means is I don’t have time to sign up for every single awesome reading challenge out there (and there are a lot of them). After blog hopping and browsing my  Twitter feed, I finally narrowed down my final list of challenges for the year.

The Backlist Books Reading Challenge is hosted by Pretty Deadly Reviews

*I chose this challenge because I recently did an inventory of my books and there are over 600 in my room alone. Unfortunately, I have read less than half of them. Continue reading
