Top Ten Tuesday

Top Ten Tuesday is a weekly list meme created by The Broke and the Bookish. This week’s topic is the Top 10 Books I’ve Recently Added to My TBR. I have a few different TBR lists so I chose to go with my 2016 New Release TBR.

For those of you who haven’t heard of OTSP Secret Sister, it is a project founded by Alyssa from Books Take You Places, Brittany from Book Addict’s Guide, and Amy from Tripping Over Books. It is kind of like a Secret Santa, but with more focus on being pen pals and providing cheer or encouragement. Each participant fills out a questionnaire and is then paired up based on the monetary value you select. You send to one person and someone else sends to you. This month is the end of round 3 and signups for the next round begin January 16th. Check out all 3 of their blogs for more FAQs and get to know the hosts before time runs out!

Today I received my final package from this round and I wanted to share it with all of you! Take a look at the video to find out who has been my personal cheerleader and Secret Sister for the last 6 months.

I’m not sure if the Secret Sis I send to has figured out I’m her Sister. I have a feeling she knows and just hasn’t said anything yet. Have you participated in OTSP Secret Sister? Does it sound like something you would be interested in?

Goals for the New Year

Each new year brings new challenges and this time we are talking about reading challenges!

Today I started my final term of grad school and will be graduating at the end of March. This means I need to be able to juggle my classes, job searches, and blogging. What it REALLY means is I don’t have time to sign up for every single awesome reading challenge out there (and there are a lot of them). After blog hopping and browsing my  Twitter feed, I finally narrowed down my final list of challenges for the year.

The Backlist Books Reading Challenge is hosted by Pretty Deadly Reviews

*I chose this challenge because I recently did an inventory of my books and there are over 600 in my room alone. Unfortunately, I have read less than half of them. Continue reading
